Do you offer a sliding scale?
Yes – I have a few slots reserved for a sliding scale, but this is not guaranteed. We can talk about fees during your free 20-minute consult.
How do I pay for counseling?
You can pay via cash, check, or credit card.
What is your cancellation policy?
I ask that you give 24-hours’ notice when canceling an appointment.
How do I set up a free 20-minute consult?

You can call (609) 451-0085 or email info@kellymcglynn.com to set up your consult.

Why is the consult necessary?
The free 20-minute consult is an opportunity for us to briefly get to know one another and determine if I am a good fit for your needs.
What can I expect in our sessions together?
You can expect to feel nurtured, heard, and understood. Through heart-based dialogue, we will uncover what you would like to work on. Together, we will make a plan to get you to where you want to be.
So, what makes counseling different than talking with a loved one or friend?

While working with a therapist, all conversations are confidential. There is no judgment – only the desire to help you heal and feel empowered. I offer a safe space to open up and express your fears, desires, anger, and other emotions that you may not want to share with friends and loved ones.

Our work together is hard, but we share a mutual goal of seeing you overcome whatever is keeping you from enjoying life now.

What are your qualifications?
I received intense training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am a licensed psychotherapist in the state of New Jersey.
What type of tissues do you use?
I have a lifetime supply of soft and durable tissues at your disposal. Crying is welcome and encouraged in your sessions – even ugly crying.
